With so many business models floating around and with the internet keeping very little secrets, the concept of “ how you are doing what you are doing ” is assuming far greater significance than "what you are doing". Save trees
Paper consumption is one of the reasons for reasons for deforestation. Sometimes, plantations are made for growing timber, which is also a monoculture lacking diversity, which is not conducive for a bio ecosystem. Its that time now - to switch and convert our lip service of ‘saving trees’ to using recycled paper that is much more prudent in the urban context. Ethical paper is that opportunity
Save Water
The regular water requires about 35- 40000 litres per ton of paper. Since the papers are bleached to make it white, the water cannot be reused and has to be discarded. Since ethical paper is not bleached, the same water is reused again and again, thus saving 98% of water. In fact, our manufacturing plant does not have a water outlet at all. Energy required to process timber for paper is a lot more than the total energy required to process recycled...
77% savings in energy.
For converting wood from a tree to a paper product, a lot of energys is required for transportation, cutting, crushing, power for water pumping etc. Ethical paper saves all these since the raw material is a used paper
Solid waste/ Greenhouse gases
Solid landfills have leachate issues, printing ink seepage, ground water contamination etc. Ethical paper reuses the paper by recycling it and hence reduces the volume at landfills.

100% recycled paper: While many diaries claim to be eco-friendly with just the front cover, we dove deeper to make the inner pages from Ethical Paper™, India’s largest 100% recycled and unbleached paper. Ethical Paper™ saves close to 3.5 tons of wood from 17 trees and about 40000 liters of water for bleaching. This directly lends relevance to the voices of save water, save trees or save earth campaigns.
The unbleached paper is less bright- 65-68% as against 82+ for a normal white paper. This sensitizes the user at a subconscious level throughout the year.
Cover page: Can be made with a choice of Cork, Jute, Raw silk, or Canvas. All these options give the desired earthy touch, not compromising the luxury feel.

- Maida is a white element that is stripped out of fibres of wheat, that compromises on our health.

- The whiter the paper, more the bleaching chemicals, more the water utilised.
Thickness: Currently, copier papers are available in 80 gsm , the writing paper ( pads,notes etc.) are in 60 gsm, while the visiting cards are in 300 gsm. Any other thickness – can be made but for a very large volume greater than 15-20 tons
Colour: the base colour of ‘natural shade’ is currently available. Soon, we will have 4 more shades of pink, green, brown and yellow. Again, we need a minimum quantity of production greater than 20 tons for customisation.
Size: The paper rolls can be cut and packaged to any size apart from the standard sizes available off the shelf. For minimum quantity, please call for details. In general, about 1500- 2000 notebooks should be the right quantity.
Rulings etc.: Currently the note books and notepads are available in unruled and ruled. In case of other variations like 4 ruled/ squares etc. for notebooks, it can be done, for a minimum quantity . Pl call for details
Printing All notebooks are available as a choice of unprinted / pre-printed with ethical paper branding. In case your own branding (logo/ image/ text) is required, we can do the same for a minimum quantity of 2000 nos of any particular size. Pl call for details.
